This is a book about creating a different kind of school. It appears here as a series of PDFs, one each for each chapter of the book. The use of an LMS (Learning Management System) to present the book will be useful for its use in discussion groups and education courses.
The PDFs were created by scanning the typed pages of the book that was written by Tony Morley. The typed pages are the only other form of the book.
This version is licensed CC BY NC SA in keeping with how federally funded works are licensed today. CC licenses didn't exist when Tony wrote the book, but it was funded by a federal grant.

Much has happened in the Minneapolis Public Schools since this report was written in 1976. That story needs to be told, too.

The report or 'book' is presented as part of a learning management system. That's appropriate because it's about learning, managing the learning, and the system in which the learning occurs.
The LMS format will make it easy for this 'book' to be used in a variety of education, political science, or public administration courses. This section is a beginning place for the ongoing discussions and extended learning activities to take place.
